North and Central Cal are basically under flood watch with this storm. SoCal not as severe but so far this year above normal too.
Been raining here near San Diego lightly since some time last night already.

Agreed. All at once is not going to be a good thing. Zig is right. Northern Cal has been getting the brunt of the weather. Southern has had some but doesn't seem to be anything near what the mid to northern call has been getting.

I saw a picture yesterday of the ski lift in Mammoth. It was shut down due to the snow was covering the chair seats.  :eek

OK!!?? Now. All is warming up a little and we have about another 3 to 5 weeks possibly of cold weather. With all the snow in the Sierra Nevada's up and down Cal. Should they be getting their surf boards ready? When that snow starts to melt you know its got to go somewhere.  :eek
