Here are some pics from our trip. There are quite a few, hope you don't get bored.
We had a great time. It snowed two of the nights we were there. The weather was fantastic, though. Jeff drove all night through the snow to get there. Only he and the truckers were on the road. It was not fun. Thank goodness for 4 wheel drive. We cut our trip to Cortez, though. It was supposed to be the last night, and I was really looking forward to seeing the Anasazi cliff dwellings, but we were having technical difficulties with the truck and I decided that 1/2 a day wasn't enough time for me to spend there anyway. So we headed to Bullhead one day early and hung out at the lake for an extra day (broke my heart )
Anyway, enough of my babbling
bambi at the rest stop between Cedar City and nowhere:
my daughter working with limited resources:
the finished product:
on our way:

Our other Jeep (wait a minute! this is the other Jeep  ) would have never made it up this. Never, ever.
and the kids and I on a hike looking for petroglyphs (ancient indian pictures carved in the cliffs) which I will post pics of later. Â
By the way, one cool note.  In this picture we are about 100 yards from the  Colorado River.  We woke up next to it Friday morning in Utah, and went to sleep next to it that night in Bullhead. Â

Quote (Carrera Elite @ April 20 2005,8:05 am) | That Looks Like Fun!! Great Pics!! Does the Jeep have It's fist scratch yet?? |
Nope, but I'm trying.... Going to the hammers at Johnson valley OHV area today for a big event. I'm guessing that she might see her first scratch this weekend.
