The wife just called. There was a line at the gas station. Her spot in line was far enough back that she was in the fire lane. LEO just walked up to the van and wrote her lic plate down. The rest of the ticket was already made out. Didn't even ask for her driver lic, registration, or even proof of insurance. Just handed her the ticket along with an envelope to mail it in and walked off. $60 focking dollars. I know the city needs money but this just seems like BS to me.

No lines for gas here, but we did get a parking ticket for not moving my daughter's car on street sweeping day.... :beat

Have to get that thing into storage... :pissed
