"Starting in 2010 Lucas Oil Products is proud to announce that we have formed a new sanctioning organization.  The Lucas Oil Drag Boat Racing Series will be owned, promoted and operated by Lucas Oil.  A full slate of exciting drag boat action will be available for drag boat participants nationwide.  In addition to having a national pro touring series, Lucas Drag Boats will also work closely with many member associations with co-sanctioning agreements.  
Ken and Patti Dollar have accepted full time positions with Lucas Oil to serve as series director and office administrator respectively.  As many of you know Ken and Patti have many years experience in the drag boat theater of action.

Construction is also underway at Lucas Oil Speedway in southwest Missouri for a new state of the art drag boat racing facility.  Current plans are to have a grand opening of the new structure by late summer 2010.
Lucas Oil has also contracted seventeen episodes of national TV for boat races on cable sports giants Speed Channel and Versus.    We hope you share in our excitement the positive changes and direction for the future of drag boat racing.
