My father passed away last night. I've spent a number of years now preparing for this day. Well today is that day and the only thing I know right now is that I wasn't prepared at all. I can honestly say this is the worst day in my life by far. He actually died and was brought back 4 times in 5 hours. Of course the last time when the Dr. says you have a decision to make is the worst. Take my word, "Pulling the Plug" only sounds easy, it's not.

And AZKC; my memory is shot and if I didn't in Aug., I pass on belated condolences to you and yours. I lost my Mom in Nov.,2004 and my heart still aches. But the memories of the good times spent with her helps ease my discomfort. You too will find the same.

Thank you all for your thoughts, well wishes and prayers.

Saturday was pretty rough to say the least. Feeling better hour by hour.

Today the fun starts if you can call it that. This will be in probate really fast, if it already isn't. No Will or Trust of any kind. Me and my sister from first marriage. 2 step daughters from 2nd marriage and they both had different fathers. 3rd marriage for a few months, no idea if she ever had a kid. 2 half brothers from his current wife who after 3 strokes as well as numerous other ailments is pretty much a vegetable on life support. Her son from a previous marriage, my oldest step-brother, stoled my fathers Hummer Sat. night as he thinks he deserves it because his car was repo'd last week.

Actually they were always around. My father supported them all including ex-wifes and or girl-friends and all there kids, his grandkids, for years. By youngest 1/2 brother turned 28 last week. He's never left the nest. He and two ex-wifes and his 3 kids still live there as well a two friends he works with. The other two are even worse. They live just up the street. Dad wanted them out of the house so he rented places for them. Time for these boys to grow up.
