You know I was thinking last night how all over this great land of our's and everybody had something going on, may it be a nascar race or a off road thing and going to the river or a concert, here the only thing I heard of was the rib cookoff, oh yeh!!!!!! :rolleyes and that sucks anymore, use to be down on the lake front, but now it's at the fairgrounds. :rolleyes

I did hit the lake with friends for a bit Saterday. Most the weekend helped some another set of friends move and eneded up yet at another friends house sunday evening for a BB-Q. Sorry I didn't take the camera Saterday. I dun did have a brain fart on that un.  :beat    :D

Saturday took the family up to Santa Barbara and Solvang for some touristy stuff. Did a hike up to a cool waterfall just outside of Solvang. Did some wine tasting (we don't even like wine). Walked the Santa Barbara boardwalk    ..... and Oh Yeah.... Spent a heap 'o money on purses for the wife and daughter at the Camarillo outlets.   :angry

Too tired, and spent too much money  :cry  that day so decided not to take the boat out on Sunday.

Planning to take next Friday off for some alone time with me and the boat.   :bebe

I spent Thursday Morning through Monday afternoon at the Lake.  It rained the whole time!  Cleared a little SUnday so it wasn't a total loss.
Got the new Eliminator out on the water and played some.  Spent most of my water time on the Jet Skis sitting out on the Lake floating around in the rain (I was going to get wet anywyas in the water right? )
Rained so hard I developed a MASSIVE leak in the Motorhome :angry

So, after a long eventful weekend, we came home, Put the motorhome, boat, Jet Skis, Dirt Bikes, and all of the BBC stuff that I have....all up for sale.    We are gonna buy a 5th Wheel, 4 stroke Jet Skis, and a Pontoon boat instead of all of these other toys....wholesale changes with our water sports program up here.

I hit the high desert Thursday afternoon.....had it all to myself for a few hours  :D

Fam and friends showed up later that night and into Friday   :cool

Had a blast, everyone had fun, introduced some newbies to the world of dirt and nobody got hurt!  :good

All the machines worked perfectly despite our best efforts to break 'em. Then it was back to work to rest up!  :laugh

It's a fact of Life:

After Monday and Tuesday, even the Calendar says : WTF .......

I know all about the "tidal fluctuations" up there.  :D  and no I will not follow squirt boats past there.  :p  The owner of the boat is now talking Roosevelt. To me thats to long of a haul for one day.

I have been thinking alot about Arizona Lately.  ANy state that enforces Immigration laws is ok in my book. :good   Seriously thinking about moving to AZ.....If there was more water around we'd be there now.  Just don't know if I can give up the 77 Lakes within a 50 mile radius of my home here.
