A little quite around the house this afternoon. Usually when I get home there is a little noise eventually, but the cat that made the noises had to be put down last night :( Poor guy was just wore out after almost 18 years. Couldn't eat or keep fluids down. And barely able to move a few feet at a time. It was sad but had to be done.

Sorry for your loss Kev, loosing the family pet is always difficult.

It will be quite quiet ;) until a new normal is established.

Been there done that and it is never easy. I swore a year and a half ago there would be no more pets when we put our last cat down of about 19 years. Well I broke almost a year ago when my bother in law was going to have to take one of his cats to the pound. I couldn't have that happen.  :rolleyes

We were talking about how now we are truly empty nesters. We have had pets and/or our son for most of our 33 years together. We're not counting the last goldfish in the pond he's pretty much on his own. Has been for 6-7 years now :stupid
