And I mean besides using it to prop open a door or as a booster seat for a kid?
They are pretty much obsolete.
They are a waste of resources. Both the materials, paper & ink, they are made of and the resultant waste by- products. The fuel it takes to deliver them and ultimately transport them to the dump and the space they take up in the landfills.
All a waste.
I think the only place they should be delivered to is to pay phone booths.
And when you find one of those, let me know.   |
Come to think of it, I can't remember the last time I saw a phone booth!
We tried to stop ours from being delivered, but its all about advertising these days...they go right from the front porch into the recycle bin....  ÂÂ

You obviously don't have a home in Havasu. For a small as that town is there has got to be at least 6 different phone books they deliver annually.:rolleyes
A good use for a phone book is a bilge sponge, soaks up oils and fluids great. |
I'm thinking you should fix some fluid leaks and leave the phone book at home. "Damn you sure know how to fock things up."-GFR
