I think you should start saving for college NOW!

It will cost a Bazillion dollars by the time she's 18.....just think, if you socked away one dollar every single day of the year for 18 years you'd have almost enough to cover tuition for ONE semester at a Cal State school (at the present fee schedule, meaning today, not in two months when it goes up 35% again)
that doesn't include books, lodging or expenses..... :D

That's my usual advice for new parents, and usually to one of my older kids or their friends....and it's usually accompanied by a U.S. Savings Bond to kick things off  :good


Now, raising the issue of a wedding to pay for is cruel and unusual punishment if you ask me...that opens up and entirely different can o' woims if you ask me.

With four, that's 4, with a capital F, girls, I can attest to having been there twice and have two to go...although, the last one was the boy's and his is already gone to hell in a handbasket! :beat

But back to our original programming...
