All in all it was a good trip. Driving it in the wind reminded me of a ride I took in a old DC-3  :plane And when the fan clutch kicks in it sounds sounds like an old DC-3 :laugh

But he rolls down the Interstate at 70 mph with the cruise on.

Where the gear vendors would be nice is splitting between 2 and 3 on long steady grades.  Or between 1 and 2 on really steap stuff (like climbing out of Superior).

That weight don't help for sure, I used to like 2nd overdrive when I had the camper and towing the boat, kept the R's down a bit but still maintained my speed without it screaming like it's ready to blow up!.. :good
