I'm Just Going To Copy And Paste From My FB Page...

From Monday September 26...

OK Boys And Girls Here It Is.....For Those Who Knew And Those Who Didn't.....I Have A Testicular Growth That Is Pretty Large. It Has Been There For A Few Months, And I Took Too Long To Do Anything About It. I Was In A Conflict Of What To Do About It. I Don't Have Any Health Insurance, And Couldn't Afford It. I Make Too Much Money For State Health Insurace(AHCCS). I Finally Told A Few People And Se...t A Dr. Appointment, Had An Ultrasound Done, And Had A Referal To See A Urologist. I Went To The Urologist This Morning. He Says That It's And Extremely Large Mass That Has Over A 90% Chance Of Being Cancerous. I Will Go For An Cat Scan Tomorrow. They Want To See If Any Cancerous Growth Is Through My Body. They Are Going To Try And Get Me On Emergency AHCCS To Get The Surgury Done.....And There You Have It Kids.....Anyone For Some Popcorn And Candy To Go With The Added Drama?? Thank You ...And Carry On....

Went To The Radiologist On Tuesday The 27th And Then Surgery On Wednesday The 28th, In The Morning.....

Surgery Went Well. The Doc Removed What needed To Be Removed. It Appears That He Removed All Of The Cancerous Material. I Will Go Back For More Blood Work Next Week, So They Can Look At The Cancer Markers. They Found Some Small Marks On My Lungs, But He Didn't Feel As If The Were Cancerous. OK....On To The Next Disaster..... ;-'

Went Back Yesterday For A Follow Up.....

Alright.....Doc Visit Today......Says That I Have About A 70% Chance That Nothing Will Reoccur From The Cancer Removed, But Said If I Went With Either A Chemo Or Radiation Treatment, It Would Raise It To About 97-99% Chance. So Now We Wait For AHCCS And Go From There. He Leaned Towards The Chemo In This Case, As He Feels That The Radiation Has Longer Lasting Repercussions. He Didn't Do Any Bloodwork This Time, But Wants To Do It Next Week......And The Saga Continues....

The Doc Said That I Can't Lift Anything Over 15#, That Means No Work For At Least 2 Weeks.....So I Sit Around And Play On The Computer, Which Only Lasts For Part Of The Day, Then I Have To Get Out Of The House. Even Then, Not Too Much I Can Do!! :banghead

Well not sure what I would do about the Chemo I've been lucky and have not had to make that choice.

Boredom is the worst. Tried Knitting or possibly Needlepoint :good

Went Back To Work Last Monday. Been Taking It Easy And Trying Not To Lift Or Pull To Much....So Far.....It Seems To Be Alright.....The Doc Wanted Me To Be Off Work For 6 Weeks :eek
