OK, I've had it with these focken phone spammers... :beat

Every night between 6p - 7p we get at least one, despite being registered on those "Don't Call" websites... :banghead

Now they are starting mid-day...usually only one, but really potty'n me off... :pissed

Usually I say "hello" then "goodbye" before their robo-router can find an operator...the last two have gotten the "full rage" treatment... :beat

What's your solution... :stupid

We were noticing how we had quit getting Robo calls and wondered what was up. well it seems our land line phone hasn't been ringing for about 2 months :rotflmao

It works it just doesn't ring. We had like 70 missed calls and a bunch of messages. Not sure if I'm going to try and see whats wrong or not :break

We used to get them every evening at 5:30 you could almost set your watch by it :beat

We just turned the ringer down and never answered and they never leave a message, eventually they got the message and gave up I guess because it slowly went away.. :beat

Fock those guys and there auto dialer. Fock Do Not Call also. With my old number I had my share of calls, went to Do Not Call of course. Then I started getting more than double the calls. With my new number, phone rings all day and night. 75% are actually for the peeps that had the number before me. :break

The Fine is supposed to be $10,000 per call per day. Who's enforcing this. :finger

yeah, we used to get that crap...

Now at family dinner, home phone is off and everyone turns ringers to silent or vibrate but cant take calls or texts unless its an emergency....

You would be amazed at what teens think constitutes an emergency! :rolleyes

Took an employee to Havi with us last year. Told her not to even bring that focking thing on the boat. She said she needed it for Emergencies. After 20 or more emergencies in less than an hour, it "fell" out of the boat. :eek

Start by saying how glad you are that they called! ( that alone gives them pause)......but then continue on with " I am a professional phone consultant. I earn $300.00 dollars an hour, with a 1 hour minimum charge. Before we go any further with your consultation, can I please have the billing address where I can send my statement for services rendered"??

Then just say nothing, and wait for their response. It's lots of fun!! :good

I switched my landline over to a telephone service called Ooma, its a VOIP service and has features to block calls or send them directly to VM. Those kind of calls have nearly ceased for me now..

I let my 12 year old boy answer any calls that get through on the home phone now......
