The original map is long gone. The thread still exists announcing it, but the actual map was hosted on another site and it's gone. It was very limited, though.  The nice part about it was that anyone could add themselves to it. I've made some custom google maps before, but I added everything myself.  I'll look at your link to check it out.  :)

Too bad...it was a cool lil program... :good

I did add the Extreme Tracker to our Eliminator Website since our "analytics" are no longer available either.

It's pretty cool...and free.  I like the "map" that shows where the hits come from... :cool

Here's the story about how this site got that tracker. Around 10 years ago, a guy that ran a boating forum in Texas solicited me and a forum from Missouri to join forces in selling add space. There was much disagreement about how much traffic our sites really got, so we all added the public trackers to be honest in our reporting.

Now I run a couple of sites for the Elks.  The Public Relations Chairman of my lodge is able to get the site stats whenever he wants without having any sort of admin access.  :good
