Usually feel better (helps the ache pains and get some sleep), and the hallucinations are usually pretty entertaining. :drink

Get a flu shot, get the flu. I don't care what they say, the virus is dead, weak, whatever... it can try and find it's own way in and deal with my immune system. I'm sure as hell not going to give it a VIP pass with rockstar parking. Last time I got one I got sicker than I've ever been in my life. No thank you. :puke

My whole family got flu shots about 2 months ago. Ã‚Â No flu yet....just some sniffles here and there.

I haven't had the flu yet. Riveratmike and I got the flu shot. BUT, I got a really bad cold that lastrd over a month. Im just getting over it now. Had a REALLY bad headache and neck ache all night last night and today. Finally feeling better. Want this all gone before Christmas. :rolleyes

I had one flu shot, that was enough for me thought I was going to die. All you need to do is keep your resistance up, take Vitamin C and Zinc, when you get tired, double up on the Vitamin C!...I ain't had the sniffles in 5 years and that's only because I screwed up and didn't take enough C's!.. :angry

Got a bit of the flu, and am pretty much over it, but i take some stuff like echinecia, and acidophilus,kinc w magnesium, vit. c and my daily vit's , when i do get sick it usually isn't bad and goes away fast. It's what you do before you get it that hels when you d get it.

Hope everyone's feeling better. And stay away from the shots or the sprays.

Thanks folks, feeling alot better today, finally broke the fever last night, went from freezing to burning up, sweating up a storm. Got freaked out I cked my temp at one point last night it read 107* :eek

I have not been sick this bad for over 4-5 years, Becky has it also. Funny, I had the fever and aches/pains, she's got the runny nose/cough.

The center for disease control (CDC) clarified on a news breakthrough Friday that aches, pains, fevers indicate a flu...but sniffles, running nose, cough indicates a cold and people should know this and not confuse the two.
