Yeah, I hear ya.  Thing that's messed up though is I love my job and enjoy working, but the Doctors won't release me to go to work.  I'm currently losing about $2k per month by not working and this whole thing has been an emotional roller coaster.  Thinking about taking up a new hobby....Jigsaw puzzles   |
You can't even talk them into light-duty???  Or, are they being total pricks about it and trying to catch you "lieing" about the injury, (gotta love the insurance companies) |
There is no light duty in my job. Lotsa driving involved as well as bending, lifting, etc. I went down with the injury on August 15 and have attempted to go back to work 2 times since then. Since the pain meds that I am taking are a narcotic base, I cannot take them while driving (or risk DUI) and the sitting still while driving tends to get a little painful at times.
They can try to catch me lieing all they want.....the proof is in the MRI. They are now talking about removing 2 disc (I have 3 bad) and replacing them with some new experimental plastic discs that pivot. I don't care what happens at this point as long as I can get back to work ASAP

Seems like every day is the same and they kind of run into each other. I have NEVER been this bored in my lifetime!
