We purchased our house 4 years ago at $132,000.00 and it was appraised 2 weeks ago at $300,000.00 I hope the values keep going UP Of course, we've refinanced 3 times since the original purchase and took out quite a bit of equity. It's nice building boats with lump sums of $$ 
So, we'll be signing this week, will net about $35k, monthly payment of $1326.00. Time to pay off the credit cards this time though.......and destroy them!
