I am looking for information on purchasing a home/mobile home and/or trailer to use at the river.  I am going to look in Havasu but don't know of anything very close to the water.  Parker would be great but can't afford the "on the river prices".  I would like to be able to beach the boat during the day and ideally walk up to our (now non-existent, but hopefully soon to be)vacation home.  Any thoughts from the board?  Thanks.....

While I personally don't have any useful info for you, I know that a bunch of people on this board have knowledge about this subject.  Some of them have done this themselves.  We, also, have members that live in Havasu and Parker, so they may be of assistance as well.

We just put a 31' trailer at Rio del Colorado (storage) for $31 a month and you can rent a RV space for $25 a night on the water pretty much everywhere. Or, you can put a trailer at La Paz County Park for $220 a month with full hook-ups. From where your trailer would be it is approximately 50' from the water. well since you didnt say how much you do have to spend it is a tough question to answer.if you dont mind not owning the land there is good spots on the cali side.i heard the new trailers going in across from road runner are going to be going for 90k not to bad.get a new trailer like kh and store it on the cali side and get a beach front spot when you come down . a few places anytime you want well almost anytime.anytime if you make reservations early.i had one at riverland worked out nice.
