I have a boat similar to that....but it's an old Sanger and needs a TON of work (It's for sale BTW

I love the old nostalgic boats. I just got a 62' Spico V-Drive that was out rotting in the pasture. Pictures are over on HB and its my new resto' project. (Like I need another project) but the boat has the old wood deck on it and was beautiful in its heyday. Apparently there was a Spico that ran in the 140's back then and was 1st in its class for quite a while. Pretty impressive for back then. I plan on fixing this one up - and giving the Bahner to my daughter on her 18th. So....mums the word for those of you that know her.......:)

Pulling the motor this weekend and all the hardware off it and basically stripping it down getting it ready for its new life.

I'll post pics as I go.
