RRMike, did you see anything going on? My buddy's car club and several others had a show they put on at the Golf course I believe. His Falcon scored 2nd place in his catagory(1960-1982 models) and said his club gathered 16 of the available 53 trophies.
Some pretty rad rides that were there.

nope never saw or heard anything about that car show. Damn I would have loved to have my 68 el camino in that show. I never know anything about these events. Do you know how you find out?

I know this guy that has a 65 Chevy short bed that he bought brand new and it's cherry, not a scratch on it and the thing just sits in his back yard, been there for 15yrs and he won't part with it, mtfkr!.. :angry  :beat  :beat

yeah, that's usually how some people are.  I remember about 25 years ago a guy here in town had 2 brand new factory 426 Hemis in crates at his shop.  We offered lotsa $$ for at least 1 of them, but he wouldn't sell.  I saw this guy about a month ago and was shootin the crap with him and he told me that he STILL has those 2 brand new Hemi's sitting in crates at his shop....and no, he ain't selling them :rolleyes

Watch for stickers on cars around town. They're purple to red in color, two palm trees on either end, a setting sun and the name "One Summer Night" cruising association on it. Talk to any of those peeps to get info on the local level. The Mudsharks pizza place(think its on Mesquite) might have some info or possibly the people up at "The Spot" (on Jamaica) might have info too.
