Was wondering. Has anyone been 2 The MonteLago Village? I will be going there for my B-day with my mom for a some mom- daughter bonding. Its a Resort in Henderson on Lake Las Vegas.  They say It is like a Tuscany village in architecture.   It will be 30 minutes into Vegas although they have a Casino there.  It sounds cool - cobblestone streets, etc.  very Italy...!! We were going 2 stay in Vegas BUT the only big hotels that we could get reservations was the Venetian at $596 per night or the crummy Tropicana at $350 per night.  The ones we got were $209 so my mom felt she got a deal - DEAL JFC....
So has anyone been or heard of this place? Just wondering what you thought of it. :)  :good  :jumpie

Lake Las Vegas is way the fock east of Henderson.  It's an artificial (aren't all resevior's?) lake.  Some shoping, but very hi-end, fun stuff to look at though.  Very swank, but kinda out of the way.  I wouldn't plan on getting liquored up in town and driving back.  

Some of the LVHB guys might see this, they'll be more help.

Hey RVRGIRL  some friends of my friends stayed there and it was very nice but the only reason they stayed there is that they were looking for a condo to buy. They told me it was a Time Share and Condo Sales type of resort but they loved it ...only thing they said bad was that there is very little going on at night and its pretty far from vegas (the strip) where all the action is ...anyway good luck and have fun

Had a great trip!  Here are some pics from my trip. Its was really pretty. Did a lot of drinking. A little shopping. Some gambling.  If you into golfing. Its a nice place. Im not into golfing. Vegas was only about 15 miles away. So it wasn't 2 bad of a job getting 2 Vegas.
