I haven't decided how I'm attacking this or if I do at all. It was farging hot at lake and its going to get hotter. Maybe do some river fishin up north for the Summer. So we may forgo boating (in our boat anyway) and see how things look in the fall and tear it down to the bare hull for new stringers and floor and fix the bottom right instead of the patch job I put on it. And then have somebody else build me a motor. :good

May cut our losses and sell it or part it out. Or insure it and see what happens

Then there's the Tahiti, which is a whole new cud to chew on :banghead

Yep....I have a VERY reliable Turnkey motor for sale (Well, almost turnkey.....you'll need carbs). It's only failed on me once since I've owned it and that was my fault, but even so, it still ran (Just ran crappy). It is EXTREMELY reliable and has the HP to move the boat forward and fairly nice MPH

It would cost somewhere's around $8k-$10k to build another like it, and I have it listed for sale at $3500.00 but would sell it to a HD Board member for $3k. Better jump on it before I change my mind and put it back in the boat to replace my new motor that has so far turned out to be unreliable :eek

Its a good deal but the rpm range is all wrong for my pump set up, its only good to about 5500-6000 then its done. I could probably swap in my valve train and find some oval portheads that would fit the 12.5 to 1's but then I'm back to building a motor. But the PayPal is tempting a got a few magic plastics layin around :rolleyes
