I suck cuz I haven't been contributing to the board lately.  I just got my 128MB card for my camera and I'm heading to the L.A. Boat Show on Thursday!  Maybe I'll get some shots that haven't been posted yet, like of the various booths.  :D

That's funny. When I'm thinking of the boards while I'm at work, sometimes I think "There's Betty! Right there!" :D  For all of the people that live in Orange County, I have NEVER seen anyone from the boards come in my store.  OC-Partycat, evidently, used to shop there, but I've never met him.  There are plenty of peeps with boats in my neighborhood and they always talk to me about them when they see me at work.  They even call me "Havasu Doug". :rotflmao  They just are reluctant to sign up on the boards.  I guess you either have it in your blood or you don't. :D

OK. :rotflmao  My coworkers have heard some of the board stories and they think the're hilarious. :D  BTW, I told her you would have stopped by on the way to the 760 New Year's party, but we were too far off the freeway. :D  She was glad you didn't. :D

OK Roostwear and Knuckle head, I used to work at the Albertson's at Tustin and Collins in Orange when it was an Alpha Beta back in the day. I left that store while it was a Lucky and the store I'm at now changed from a Lucky to Albertson's.  It's in Trabuco Canyon though, just below Saddleback Mountain.  It's 25 miles from Orange.  I was born and raised in Orange as well, but graduated from Villa Park High School.  :D

Speaking of Alicia, we just hired a new girl named Alicia.  If anyone goes in there looking for Betty, her name is NOT Alicia.  Actually she spelled it A L I S H A on hotboat, but that's not her real name anyway.  Betty and I already discussed the possibility of mistaken identity and she's actually hoping that will happen.  The real Alicia is not in the loop of the significance of her name though. :eek
