So I'm working today and it's Labor Day weekend, so it's out of control busy and I'm stuck in the checkstand.  :eek  So I ask this customer, "Did you find everything you were looking for?" blah, blah, just like I ask every other customer.  So the guy says "I found you......My name is Matt."  Well evidently I had a puzzled look on my face as I thought "WTF did he just say?" :rainbow  Then he says "I'm looky_lou". :good  Can you believe it?  He actually exists! :rotflmao  He was driving from Washington State to San Diego and thought he would pop in to say "Hi".  Fortunately it was close to my lunch time, so LL was kind enough to wait for me so we could BS for an hour. :)

I was so excited to finally meet you. :) It was great to be able to talk face to face. Now you guys can't ay that no one has met me. If the Scubas didn't move to AZ, I might have just showed up at there door too.

Maybe we can get together next weekend for lunch or dinner or something on my return trip. I will keep you posted on my schedule as it becomes available.

Again, thanks for taking the time to shoot the shit with me. It was a long trip.

PS. My sons new apt. is 1/2 a block from the beach right in the heart of Pacific Beach. It should be a fun week for me. :D

LL, definitely keep us posted  on the details of your return trip so we can get together for lunch or dinner. There are tons of local SoCal peeps that would love to meet you as well.  With enough notice, I'll be sure to bring some peeps with me. :D

I get witty comebacks all day long to the "Did you find everything" question, but I STILL got caught off guard with that one. :rotflmao

    Hey Doug. Over this past weekend I found out that we know the same person. She is from your past. She was a Manager (I think) from Alberstons. Her name is Patty. She said you would remember her. Something about "cows". She is really pretty. She reminds me of Jennifer Lopez. Do you remember her? She was at the river house in Parker with her hubby John. She says she knows Catsmeow as well. She is a great girl.  :)
