USC won on Saturday to retain their #1 Ranking, and the Raiders won yesterday to move into a 3 way tie for 1st place in their division since everyone else in their division lost yesterday :good

Hope they can both keep it up. This is the time of year that I look forward to every saturday and sunday just so I can sit on the couch or recliner all day and eat junk food and watch football. :jumpie

It all depends on your perspective of life, and the things that make you happy. Watching the Raiders Win, Denver Lose, Kansas City Lose, and San Diego Lose, made it a pretty darn happy weekend for me

Raiders get Tampa Bay (Raiders East Coast :laugh

) this weekend and are 3 point favorites. I hope that the Raiders SLAUGHTER the Bucs as payback for a certain Superbowl 2 years ago. But, something tells me that the Raiders will win, but it will be close. Kinda funny how alot of former Raiders are now at Tampa Bay, and alot of former Bucs are now in Oakland. Should be interesting to see the Receiver matchup between Tim Brown (Bucs) and Jerry Rice(Raiders). Unlike the Superbowl, this time Jon Gruden doesn't have the Raiders Playbook like he did when Callahan took over the Raiders (Callahan was a Gruden Pawn, and used the same playbook that Gruden made). This year, Norv Turner has brought in a whole new playbook along with all new coaches. I'm thinking that they(The Raiders) will make it to the playoffs this year :good

I also wouldn't be surprised to see Jon Gruden talking to Rich Gannon a bit more than just a "Hey, how ya been" type of conversation. Gruden made no bones about it this past off season that he wanted Gannon to go to the Bucs. Now the Raiders have 2 good QB's (Gannon and Kerry Collins) and the Bucs don't have a good QB (Who is their QB anyways? Brad Johnson? Benched last week after a few picks, and replaced with a no name guy)

USC wins yesterday (Barely). Stanford made a good game out of it for sure.
Raiders vs Tampa Bay tonight. I expect the Raiders to win as the Tampa Bay players will probably have their minds elsewhere (Hurricane Jeanne is supposed to roll across Tampa Tonight). At least I'll still get to see it on TV on ESPN at 5:30. Usually Oakland home games are blacked out here because of non-sold out stadium, but the NFL has made an exception in this case and gave the ok to televise the game locally tonight :good
