For those of you who know me, you know I have been in the hiring process with the Riverside County Sheriff Department for over a year now. I was sworn into the department today. It was a big day for me and I just wanted to share my excitement.

It will be about 2 1/2 till I actually am in a cruizer. I was lucky enough to get assigned to the South West Detention Center only a few miles away from my house to do my jail time. It's a newer facility right up Winchester in French Valley fight next to  French Valley Air Port.

My nephew got accepted in SanB a little over a hear ago.  He loves it; never heard him complain (yet..!!;).

He's pulls alot of OT in Banning, makes good money that way.

Congrats...I've been a cop for 10 years now. Worked patrol, bikes, undercover and now a fraud detective. I also got a later start from a corporate career and found this job to be much more rewarding.

Good luck through training it becomes a whole new world afterwards.
