Cool pix thans for sharing, glad you survived!    |
Actually they had 2 cranes, but they still had to do some maneuvering. Good thing there wasen't too many boats other wise there would have been a problem!..They haven't raced there in over 20 years and with all new people they have a lot to learn but the event went without a hitch. I guess they are going to put in launch ramps in this winter!. It is a good facility though, just too damn far to drive for just a weekend!. |
Yeah I would think it would be a little far to drive for a weekend. Water looks a little rough too?    |
Yeah once a year is enough as far as I'm concerend.
Actually the water was pretty good for us but it was a little hairy for the hydro guys, there was a cross wind and that is good for a blow over so they called it. We tried to talk them into letting us run but they wouldn't go for it!..Now Sunday morning it was like a mirror out there and that sucks but around 10:00 a slight breeze came up and made the water perfect. We ran Saturday's heats back to back in the morning and Sunday's deal in the afternoon, it went off flawless and it was all done by 3:00pm!.... Then the dreaded part, time to pack up and leave, that sucks!.
