If them damn Orange County and San Diego County voters would have gotten out and voted, Bush would have taken California too  In 2 counties that normally run heavy republican and with alot of registered voters, turnouts in the 50% range don't cut it  Damn!!! I was hoping that Bush would have won CA, and he would have if the turnout was higher in a few counties.  The county I live in had a 68% turnout, but unfortunately, we are stuck with the People's Republic of Davis in this county and they are extreme over there, sorta like Berkeley (Both UC Colleges). Of course, one can't expect much from a city that built a "Toad Tunnel" so that the toads could go under a road rather than getting squished by cars on top of the road (It didn't work....the toads are still getting run over ). Oh well, at least Bush won the election and the Republicans picked up seats in both the Senate and Congress  ANd I was Sooooo happy to see Tom Daschle get his   kicked and booted out of office.  Nobody saw that coming, but I'm damn glad that it did
