BUFF - Big Ugly Fat F*cker = B-52.  I worked with a few ex-Air Force Mechanics, that's what they always called the airplane.  

My bro just got hired back after being laid off a year ago.  Copper prices are headed back up again, hopefully to stay.  

No lunch, can't leave the building till 6, just lots of coffee and mabye some pop-corn later on.

More Pops trivia, he has this plaque from the Mach Busters Club. It says he was the 7th guy to go Mach 1 in a F100. He was right behind all those guys that they made the movie The Right Stuff, he quit the Air Force after 12 years as a Major.

No lunch   :( what ya do brown bag it? Did that big snowstorm keep ya busy and did it help your lake levels any? Ours are starting to creep up alittle but still in drought conditions, we haven't had decent rain for 5 years.

No kidding, that's just to cool.  I don't have any flying stories like that.  Must have been a switch from going Mach 1 in an F100 to flying scheduled airliners!!

No brown bad.  During the week, we order out for lunch, but this place is locked down on the weekends.  Just hit the snack machine once in a while and drink lots of water.

That being said, how was lunch, a burger sounds pretty good right now.

We got a little snow as far as I know, I was out in Vegas last week.  The big snow in Denver last month was on the wrong side of the divide to help us, though the February and March storms helped us out quiet a bit.  Hopefully we will get a few more storms in the next couple of months, run-off doesn't start around here till about the end of May.  The local lakes should come back up this year, though they may not fill all the way.

I rode my motorcycle over to Whataburger(great day for a bike ride)picked up a chesseburger, no onions, extra pickle, add mayo. It was a little to much, pretty full still.  :D  Now your hungry I bet :laugh Sure miss french fries though, cut potatos out of the diet and a chocolate shake would have been good but I cut out most sugar too :(

Just kidding.  Doin' the atkins thing huh?  I could skip the sweets and stuff, but potatos and beer would be hard to give up.  There's nothin' better then a big steak, baked potato, and a cold bud (high test, not bud lite) at the lake.  

There, now were even.    :p

Kinda of a modified Atkins still drink to much beer, switched to Ultras from Bud. I just cut as much carbs as I can stand. Still sneak a fresh cookie in every now and then.
The wife called and she set out some Porterhouse's for dinner tonight. Gona be a good night    ;)

There is a tiny lake about 1 1/2hrs to the south only good for test and tune, way to small. Then we usually go to Apache Lake its about a 3 to 4 hour tow its about 16 miles long dam to dam. We are patiently waiting for Roosevelt(its only 2-3 hour tow) to fill up it got as low as 8% last year but its up to about 28% they raised the dam about 75ft 6-7 years ago and its never made it past the old high water mark, it will be cool cause it will be like a totaly different lake if/when it fills to the new level. And also it will be a couple thousand more acre feet than Havasu. That is where I'll probably hang more once it fills up a little more.

Apache is up by globe, right?  If it is, I've flown over it a few times on my trips to Tucson.

I went to Roosevelt about 10 years ago with some friends from Pheonix.  Nice and warm, a little crowded though.

I guess I'm a little spoiled.  There have 4 lakes no more than an hour from the house, and Powell is about 3 hours from here (the north end of the lake at least).  I can't wait till I can get the boat in the water again.

As far as the time difference, up till a week ago, we were on the same time as you, but we change to daylight savings.  I sure do like the long evenings, but hate the time change.

Apache is what Roosevelt runs into. You go to Globe (now theres a town....) to get to Roosevelt.
It goes Salt River, Roosevelt, Apache, and then Canyon. They all are in a row dam to dam Apache is hard to get to but worth the trip. I'll get some pics up someday.

The one I'm thinking of is south of San Carlos (I think that's the town), it isn't fead by the Salt River I don't think.

Globe looks like it could be interesting on a Friday night, only been through there a few times though.

Pics would be cool, I'll do the same when boating season starts.
