I believe that is a 20mm (30mm actually, thanks GlassMan) cannon on the bottom of an Apache... BOOM, BOOM, BOOM.... you go away now....

The last few frames showed a much wider shot. It looks like the helo was some distance away.

Most likely it was, I don't know what the effective range is on those guns, but they were probably within a mile or so.

650 rounds per minute, 4 kilometer range! :guns
