.....not that many of you have been; but da gig has been MIA for a few months. So, I'll tell y'all what's been goin' on so I don't have to repeat it too often. The emotional roller coater began on November 10th when my Mom passed away. A real low and tough time. Then came the high. Our Daughter gave birth to our 3rd Grandchild, 1st Granddaughter on December 23rd. She's a real doll! Looks just like her Mother!.....and that's good because everone says that my Daughter looks just like me! Then the ol' 'puter took another major dump on us, so we gave in and went and got us a new one and I've just been too busy to get 'er runnin' until now. Anyways; I'm back and I bet nobody even knew I was gone; didja? :)

I was wondering. :confused

Sorry to hear about your mom, but I'm glad for the things that are going well for you. :D  9 years ago, a friend from work passed away and the very next day, my daughter was born in the same hospital.  As sad as it is to lose someone, it is very cool when new ones come.  I shared this story just yesterday to a friend at work who got a phone call early yesterday morning.  Her aunt had passed away, but she got news in the same phone call of a new niece being born.

I'm glad to see you back Gig. :)

Gig, I'm so sorry to hear about your mom.  Sounds like you had a good Christmas gift, though.  I noticed your absence, but figured we had just been lurking on different boards.  (Kinda like a parallel universe!  LOL )  Anyway, glad you're up and running and able to continue to pass on your complimentary words   :laugh

Losing a loved one is never easy, and especially emotional around the fall season.  Our family lost two this past December.

Congrats on the new arrival... :good   She'll sure be the "princess of the house"... :love

Glad to hear you are back up and rolling with the new computer. Congratulations on the new grand daughter and just in time for Christmas. Losing my mother was one of the tougher times in my life, so I feel for you on that one. Keep yopur chin up and welcome back to the board. :grouphug
