I'm back reluctantly.

Glassman, the weather sucked, we only had maybe 2 1/2 days of nice sun..otherwise windy, cloudy, rainy :cry

They even beat a 50 year old record for low temp.
First time in the past 4 years we've had not so perfect weather at this time of year.
Either way, it still was nice time...found the ultimate snorkel spot....secret, can't tell. Nobody around, a half hour's hike accross the most wicked lava field but worth it. It was like swimming in your fish tank :good

Oh yeah, they were all over the place. Some pretty close to the shoreline even. :good

One of the few days we had some early sun...I was sitting by the pool with the wife and kid in the pool, looked out into the ocean and there were like 5 of them jumping around just off the shore....didn't even have to get up from my foot massage to watch :laugh

Never fails to see 'em at this time if on the west coast of Maui....couple years ago we were on a ship and saw them just as we entered Ma'allea harbor doing fin slaps(on their backs flapping the pec-fins).

I've spent a few weeks in Napili Bay over the years and the last trip was in March a few years back and we we're watching them from the beach and room all day. But the weather did get shitty thats for sure

it washed all the red dirt from the pineapple fields in to the water and made snorkleing a bit murky
