Well, gas prices are going through the roof once again and since we're getting ready to take a long trip in 10 days, figured I'd pass along some gas price info. When checking through Gasbuddy.com it looks like the city that we live in, Woodland, CA has the lowest prices in California @ $2.05 gallon and the Chevron in Needles on Needles Highway has the highest @ $2.79 gallon All them folks fixing to head towards the water down south better fuel it up now.... Anyway, since we are driving to Idaho on March 26, it is nice to see that the gas prices there are about $.20 per gallon less than they are here. Washington and Oregon are about $.10 less. Why is it that California always has the highest prices when we have so many refinerys? It's because our State government decided that they need to tax our taxes on fuel. What are the taxes for that we pay for registering our vehicles? (Again, the highest in the nation) We pay registration taxes for the Government to fix the roads, but then we also pay gas taxes to fix the roads???? They are taxing our taxes on taxes here! Man I can't wait to move to Idaho!
