My girlfriend moved in around sept...she has three cats and my main concern was them clawing my furniture. She said she planned on getting them declawed since they are house cats and she would keep them in her room when she wasnt home until then. I love animals...all animals...

I hate her cats...they have to go. I come home from a 24 hour shift...dead tired from running calls and I find cat barf on my carpet...I catch them on my kitchen table and counters..the open up the cabinets and pull my towels out..they pee'd on my furniture...they clawed my vintage bedspread and curtains..Problem is she is never home and they are out of control.

I let alot of this slide..but now my couch is shreaded on all four corners...thats when I said something to her and she went out and got their nails clipped and bought some stupid spray for your furniture to keep animals off of that doesnt even work..she also said she would keep them in her room when she isnt home..well she isnt keeping her word. She was a friend and so I let her move in without asking for a security depost..Im a dumbass.

They just need to go...Im sick of cleaning up cat barf and my couch is a mess..you would think they are my cats...so Im looking for a new roommate.. I live in a really nice town house in HB close to GoldenWest college...If you know of anyone who doesnt have cats let me know. I appreciate your help.

Pets are only as bad as the people who own them. Kill her and find the cat's a nice home. She sounds worthless anyway. Call Barretta if you need help.

I believe, and correct me if I'm wrong anybody,, it's illegal to de- claw cats in Calif.
Owning any more than one cat is ridiculous.

I have one working, mostly outdoor cat solely to rid my neck of the neighborhood of Norweigan roof rats, Gophers and mice.
He pukes and poops outside in the wilderness.

My neighbors thank me.

Female roomates are sometimes not the way to go.
Guys are creepy - girls are flaky.
I would just rent to chicks that were cost conscience, heading into a divorce and trying to save some cash by renting a room.
If they constantly rent rooms from others,, then you have a flaky person.
Girls are easier to kick out, guys tend to pay the rent and not have problem pets and stay longer.

Kick her out, tell her it's not working out because walking through your front door isn't fun anymore.
You're not a dumbass Windy,, it's a pain in the ass to rent a room and ya just tried to accomodate and get it over with. Your maternal instinct took over. No good deed goes unpunished.
Ya can't be loyal when it comes to renting.
Ya gotta rent cause it's so expensive.When I lived in HB I used roomate finders, and they were teriffic.
Run an ad:

Room to rent. (not place to share) To person with act together
No smoking/drugs/pets/creepy boyfriends
Nice situation.

I think TPC hit it ! "Gently " persuade her to find other accomodations before it costs you both a friendship; if it hasn't already. Look on the bright side doll; it could have been some of this bunch barfin' on your floor and clawin' your couch. Now that would have been "industrial" gnarly!

I'll mention it to friends that have decent daughters going to school in your area.
Perhaps check to see if roomate finders is still operating, and sometimes local real estate offices have "a Letter" that circulates among offices and girls with their act together will read.
