Seems to have tapered off after about a week didn't they?

Let's look back:

First is was one a day.

Then it was a couple every other day.

Then it was a once a week highlight.

Now we must be on the monthly schedule.

Hate to say I told ya so, but government employees... Must have gotten sidetracked with that dang solitaire game on the computer. :rotflmao

Then I had some vacation time over St Patty's and my computer was down till Tuesday(this is pure work related research so I don't post them from home), but I did actually miss yesterday so I'll post 2 today to catch up since it seems to be something everyone is looking forward to :bebe

Did you know that on this day in '89 the Exxon Valdez pissed off alot of ducks? :eek

Or that its Harry Houdini's B-Day? :good

A funny story... about an oil spill... Ã‚Â :rolleyes

When I first got out of school and went to work in ABQ, I was employed at the Exxon dealer at the airport. Ã‚Â In the lobby were several large pictures of tigers with the Exxon logo accross them, you know the typical corporate promo type deals... but I digress..

Kenny, one of the customer service reps was a real comedian (literally, the guy did stand-up and was a funny focker). Ã‚Â It never failed that a passenger waiting for an airplane would comment on the Exxon/Tiger pictures hanging on the wall... without missing a beat, Kenny would pipe off, Ã‚Â "Yeah, we've got those up untill the ones of the oil covered seals come in..." Ã‚Â

You could usually hear a pin drop in the lobby when he said that... followed, hopefully..... by laughter...
