Well nothing went according to plan, didn't get to leave on time, focken freeway was closed for construction had a 15 mi detour at 10 mph. Got into Santa Fe Springs late still had to wait a 1/2hr for the guy to show up. Finally got the motor loaded up and headed for Billy B's, get on the freeway and it's a parking lot. Finally get to Billy's at 11.30, by the time all the parts are gathered and loaded, the boat hooked up and trailer wired, paperwork done, grab a bite to eat on the fly it was after 4 when we left Upland, got back at 9, unload the truck and put the boat way, loaded the motor into my truck, it was 10 by the time I got home. I was ready for :drink

by that time!. At least the boat is safe and sound!.. :good

A couple of weeks and it will be here for the install, another K Boat on the rise!.. :good

Took a few pics along the way across the green desert!. :good

Thanks, yeah trips like that just makes my day!.

Nah he's not going to race it, it'll be a Needles K, he'll be using local too, until he gets busted! :laugh

he says it's too pretty to go out and beat the shit out of it racing it. :laugh

It will have PCI and a hat on it, we figure right around 1000lbs of torque and 1200 to 1500hp!. Should be a sweet ride, once he learns to drive it!..

Shouldn't take too long but it did go over budget a bit :laugh

He's gotta get a work cover for it then I'll get it for a few days to install the driveline and misc stuff, the motor is all there just needs to be built and a couple of seats and it should be ready for testing. I'd say a by June it ought to get wet!.. :good
