What's up all? The ice is finally all gone and the weather is been in the 60's.(74 yesterday) I know this doesn't sound like much to you guys but, to us that are geographically challenged, this is a good sign. The boat is going to come out of my warehouse and go home in a week or two. I'm like a virgin in a whorehouse, all nervous and excited. :love  I can't wait to get the new boat in the water. I just had to get this out, I'm walking around with a big smile everyday I see that sun shinning. People are probably thinking, "that kid is way to happy."  Sorry if I'm boring you guys, just excited about the season.

Although the weather is not as extreme in Southern California, there usually is some sort of "down time" because of the weather and winter projects.  I feel the same way around this time of year.  I actually took my boat out for the first time since last season yesterday, but the sun never broke through the clouds.  It was cold and started to drizzle after I pulled the boat from the lake.  Wouldn't you know it though, the weather is actually beautiful today, just like it was on Sunday here.  The funny thing is that we still need to go through our "June Gloom" period.  During that time of year, it is typical for mornings to be overcast and not clear up until afternoon.  I'll just try to be ready when we have a sunny morning on my day off.  :)

We still have ice on the lakes, river is opening up, but it is supposed to snow this weekend, I am shooting for middle of april.

We have a contest here in Tucson they call it "The Ice Break" you  predict the day and minute that we hit our first 100* day and they say that is when the ice on the Santa Cruz River breaks. Funny thing is there is no water in the river and as far as ice    :rotflmao
My boss just hooked me up with some VIP spring training tickets so it's off to the ballpark to watch the Diamondbacks and eat and drink for free. 80*, baseball and beer  :)

You don't live that far from me, and you guys are supposed to get snow? How far north is appleton? It's going to get into the 70's on Thursday and down to the 50's this weekend. I thought I lived in BFE but, you really do.

It is a beautiful day here. If my boat was sea worthy I would skip out on work today and hit the water. It just kills me I have a lake about 10 min from my office.

I think we will all be a little happier when we get our first dose of waterfilled weekends! :)

The thing that kills me is I am going to have to spend a few weeks in IL. So my boat progress is going to slow down a little.  :(
