I went to Topac yesturday at the frigin gas was $3.74 a gallon... Now I know that they are under new ownership, and tryin to make a few more bucks but come on!!! :beat :angry

My buddy asked them what the deal was and they said that the gas company jacked their price up on them, but that sounds like BS considering that they are in AZ.  I think they are just tryin to pay for all of those new waitresses that they have there...  

I love going to Topack, but this is rediculous...

Thats my rant for the morning

Sounds like back in the gas shortage days  :eek When we buy gas at Apache here in AZ its usually a dollar more than in town.

Yeah, I agree thats a load of crap. They raised all the menu prices and the prices on just about everything in the store. They tried jacking the price on a pitcher of Bloody Marys from one day to the next and then brought it back down when my buddy started bitchin'. Probably shot back up again.

The last day I was there, 4/17, gas was $2.99 a gal.

According to www.gasbuddy.com , the highest gas in AZ is around $2.59.

I think my days of going to Topoc for anything are numbered.

I'll just have my own personal little boycott and he can have his gas. :angry

It's a fact of Life:

After Monday and Tuesday, even the Calendar says : WTF .......

I love goin to Topack, and grabbin lunch... I dont even mind payin a little more for the food and drinks...  But the gas is just plain gouging!!!

Its just the new owners...  They think they can make that place into a goldmine and do it better than the last guy.  When the truth is that if Topack was nicer and they wouldnt really draw more people (they are already goin there, you either stop off or ya dont, new paint doesnt really change much for me)...  I like the fact that that place is a dive!

Only a few times have I seen every slip filled. Now that I think about it, I've never seen the gas dock that busy with boats. I think that the boats that do stop there are topping off, not filling.

On the other hand, I've seen it literally packed with lice lined up to fill their little tanks. So they probably won't mind a 5 or 10 dollar increase in a fill up. :stupid
