It started as a dreary, overcast day, some drizzles here and there. Janet's dad had just suffered another small seizure and couldn't walk, he was suffering from cancer tumors in his brain and the treatment wasn't working. Janet was crying. The tables had been set, the flowers arranged just so, beer tapped, the DJ ready and people arrived. As the day progressed the weather improved and so did Jan's spirit, afterall we were about to be married. By some miracle of God, Jan's dad found the courage and will to walk his lovely daughter down the grassy aisle and offer her to me for our lifetime. We said our Vows, exchanged kisses and happily made our way back down the aisle as if floating on air with joy. We danced and celebrated our Union, Jan's dad even was able to somehow dance a few songs too. Her father not even remembering or realizing he'd danced later that night. We jumped in the FireEngine Red BMW convertible with cans dragging and headed off to our future together. Now 15 years later I can say without hesitation I love my wife even more, she's my rock and soul, my best friend and trusted confidant. And oh so beautiful. . I love you Jan..........Happy Anniversary babe. Cabo, here we come!!!!
Ain't life Grand? Treat it that way. The Love of my Life, Jan.
