All signs are pointing in this direction:

I've given it alot of thought, and it hasn't been an easy decision.  A year ago, the Cig would have been the hands down choice because the girl I was dating had a family place on Coronado so we could be there all the time.  Now, realisitically, I probably won't hit the ocean but a couple times a year and I can do that without a problem in the Spectre.  The Cig is about 11,000lbs on the trailer from what I've seen and heard.  I have no problem pulling that around, but just don't see the need to now.  For where I boat a majority of the time, the Spectre will be perfect and it's around 5K on the trailer.
The other issue was the top speed on the Cig being 70 mph or there abouts.  I'd end up tearing stuff apart and building it to get more speed, then start breaking drives.  The Spectre will run about 110 right now and will do it all day long.  That's more my style. ÂÂ
I'm thinking I'll pick this up now and then a couple years down the road if I get tired of it, I'll do something else.  It's a really fun boat though.  Went for a ride in it last time at Havasu from the Sandbar down to the Channel and it absolutely cooks.   Everyone is a tough guy, until you meet one.
