YUMA, Ariz. One Marine was killed and another Marine was arrested after a Jet Ski collision this weekend at Lake Martinez in southern Arizona.
Marine Corporal Jesse Menard was flown to Yuma Regional Medical where he was pronounced dead at around 4 p-m Saturday.
The 23-year-old Menard was an air traffic controller at the Marine Corps Air Station-Yuma
Marine Lieutenant Beatriz Yarrish, a spokeswoman at the base, says the other Marine was arrested on suspicion of vehicular manslaughter. That Marine was not identified.
Yarrish says alcohol was suspected as a factor in the accident.
