We've been pretty lucky here I guess.  I've only seen today's problem happen once before in almost 3 years.  I banned an IP once before since it was hitting the board every 15 minutes for 2 weeks.  Other than that, all I ever see is Google hitting it, but that's because I run Google ads and they don't hit it hard enough to disrupt the board.  |
Yeah i wish i was that lucky..My server gets attacked about twice a week so i am always watching what my server is doing.  I host about 30 websites so i get alot of traffic comming through the system and i have the server at my house so it sucks having it on 24/7 with 8 cooling fans humming loudly...lol but i love IT stuff so it's worth it. |
Cool. I'm in training myself. I started this place a few years ago, hacked the code a bit, then went back to school last year to learn more.
