We went to Roosevelt.

I've either got a blocked fuel line, or a blocked vent. One tank empty, one tank full... We tried replumbing the system and still couldn't get any fuel out of the tank. Just about the time we were going to rig up something to siffon the fuel from the full tank to the empty tank, we waived down Mr. Mo Money and he drug us all the way back to Windy Hill, from Horse Pasture... about 10 miles.

I think it was AZKC that said, "Going to the lake would be alot more fun if I didn't take the boat." :laugh

It rained like a cow pissing on a flat rock on Friday... and no party pad (that's an entire other story)... we just huddled under the canopy at the camp site during the down pours. Ã‚Â :rolleyes

If you consider a couple dozen boats on the lake crowded... yeah it was assholes and elbows out there. Ã‚Â :rolleyes

The lake is down another 5 feet or so. Ã‚Â We've now established that a trip to the marina for ice cream is mandatory when the munchkin is along. Ã‚Â :good

The kid had a blast, flat wore her out two days in a row. Ã‚Â :good

There was someone out in an HTM putting down a couple good passes over on the windy hill side.... :good

And then there was the peep in the 25' Blown Daytona pulling the kids around on a tube...

Couldn't be happier with the boat. :good

Lot's of room and nice ride in the afternoon chop, and it's reasonably fast.

I get quite a few compliments on it as well, it's doesn't look to bad for a 30 year old boat. :good

I'm going to try and pick up a daycruiser like yours this winter. I'd like to find a BBC powered one so I can swap in my LS-6.

As much as I like my boat, there's just not enough freeboard :confused

to handle very much chop and it's so light, choppy water tears up my old bones.

Sounds like something is plugged up somewhere, but if you're pulling out the top of the tanks it's a shear miracle if you happen to draw even, it just don't happen. A setup like that is best to put a switch over valve in and go from one to the other, you can get them manual or electric!.. :good

This winter we're going to have a nice low profile one made, just far enough off the deck to grab a hold of. They won't come togather in the middle though, it should look nice.

As far as the plumbing, a project is already underway to put valves on the fuel lines. I've never been fan of hard lined to "both" for this very reason. :beat

All you'd have to do is take one ride in it and you'd be sold. For no bigger than it is, it handles a good sized chop very well. :good
