This is what I noticed when I pulled the boat out of the lake last Friday morning.  Someone hit my boat and left without leaving a note. :angry  It happened either while I was retrieving my truck from the parking lot at Windsor Beach, or while in the marina at the London Bridge Resort. My rub rail popped a few rivets and got bend down a little.  The gel got hit a little in the corner.  There was a small amount of red color transfer to my boat.  The rub rail should be very easy to fix.  I'll just have to bend it back and re-rivet it. :good

I think the other boat hit pretty hard to cause this damage to one of my Bassett's.  I sure hope it did some damage to the gel on the other boat. :rotflmao

I hate the flared ends on these headers anyway, so I would like to cut them off.  I had already planned on getting my headers ceramic coated anyway.

Sorry to see that Doug, It's too bad people don't own up to responsibility these days. Like you said ( Hope it did damage to who ever it was) I say major damage for not stepping forward.  :angry

That sucks doug...I'm sorry that happened  :(

I was amazed at the difference between our lakes and Havasu/Parker area. Out here if someone is even remotely close to your boat they are being rude...but at Havasu folks hook boats up to each other, they line up next to each other on the river or on the channel. I guess up here there is just a MUCH bigger range of 'personal space' required.

A hit and run sucks...I hope they got the worst of the deal  :guns  :D

At least your boat did not sink.....It sounds like you had a great time there though!

If I can get the motor back on my boat and the stereo replaced in time I am going to Parker with the kids on July 11th.

That sucks, Dougie.. :angry  !!! Yes, you can say that at least no one was hurt, but that is some f**king bullshit that someone was ball-less enough to not even leave a note. People like that need a good ass kicking.

Case in point of people not caring: After shopping at Albertsons before work the other day, I walk out into the parking lot, and there is a car parked next to my truck with 3 teens in it (about 18-19). One of em is standing outside of the car taking a leak right in the parking lot of the store!!! I completely lost it, and went the f**k off on him, and told him to go find a god damn bathroom next time. Of course when I got into my truck, he started talking all of this smack, which of course, made me get back out of the truck, and go off on him again. I wonder where peoples values went to in this society..... -Dick "Furious" Danger Out

Thanks everyone! :D  I think I'll fix the molding myself on Wednesday, and get the headers to the coating shop within a couple of weeks.  I already blued them a couple of months ago.  I just want to cut off the flares before the're coated. :good

If something like that happened to me and the person fessed up to their mistake I wouldn’t have a problem with it. I probably would tell them not to worry about it and thank them for their honesty assuming the damage is not extreme. But when they do something like this and run away it just infuriates me. Like DD said where have all the morals and values gone?

Case in point I have towed a few broken boats back to the launch ramp. When they offer me money I never take it but I really appreciate the offer. If they don’t offer me money or a beer or some sort of thanks I feel insulted. I don’t want anything except the common courtesy of a thank you.

With my luck when I break down no one will stop to help me.  :rolleyes
