I dread having to go to the dentist. I had an 8am appointment this morning for cleaning and Xrays. New Hygenist this time around worth staying in the seat for :love .
Scrape, scrape, grind, opps, scrape grind scrape......turn your head to the right a little, now left.
Time to pollish them nice and shiney.

Exam time by the Doc...........hmmmmmmmm, uh huh, ohhhhhhh.......then they have the knack to ask you a question with their fingers crammed in your mouth :rolleyes ......answer is: nothhh thoooo mooch unreth I dwink cole wadda :drink
.
After all is done and I'm ranting about even having to be there he says we need you back to take a closer look at one tooth.........Lets do it now I say..........can't machine is broken right now.....
See front desk to make appointment.
Cha-ching $175 in a matter of 45 minutes cleaning and 5 minutes with the Doc.......and still having to return for more bad news I'm sure(and another pricey bill).......
Wish I could bill out at his rates, hiway robbery :angry

no stories like that, I found one that has great taste in women, every time I go in he has a hotter than last time Hygenist. I may look like "snaggletooth" :rotflmao  but it's worth the visit :D

I have to fill out a blood donor card everytime I have my teeth cleaned! :(

And they charge me extra because they have to replace the vinyl on the armrests....oh that hurts just thinking about it. :fouet

Found out the hard way while getting a tooth drilled...where there's smoke...there's fire.  The drill evidently had caused it's last bit of pain and went out kicking and screaming.  The drill jammed and yes, caught fire while working on me.

I broke a molar a couple years back, went to see the dentist and he tells me that it needs a crown. Made the appointment for the crown after a graveyard shift so I had been drinking allot of coffee. Half way through this torture I start squirming around in the seat so the Doc asks me what's wrong, of course I cant talk because his hand, tools, assistants hand, spit sucker and mouth prop are all in my mouth. I try to tell him that I have to piss but even I cant understand what I am saying so I decide to give him hand signals, I made a fist stuck my thumb out and held it on top of my junk. He got the point. :good

Waitin' for my permanent crown to come in to have it "installed" in a coupla weeks. Scary story; wish I could remember the dentists name so I could warn y'all to stay away from this clown! About 5 years ago, for some unexplained reason, my jaw decides to splinter and send a sliver of bone out through my gums just below one of the molars. Finally dug the damn thing out and decided to go to the dentist and verify what it was. Anyway, the hygienist looks at it and wants the doc to take a look at it. So this goof is workin' on someone else, walks over to me, and tries to stick his hands in my mouth while wearin' the same gloves that he had stuck in someone else's mouth. I pitch a bitch, so he goes to the sink and washes said gloves off. I says, "That ain't gonna cut it! If those damn gloves cost that damn much, I'll buy 'em for ya! Change the damn things or you ain't lookin' at squat in my mouth and I'll do my best to see to it that ya don't look at anyone else's mouth too!" That's the same day that I found out that ya don't want to piss off someone who's gonna have his hands in your mouth!  :eek

While we're on the subject of dentists; is it just me or does every dentist go to college on a basketball scholarship? Almost every jawbreaker that I've been to has hands the size of two hams!  :eek  :(
