Topless Club Cheers Passage
– The Bullhead City Council chambers were packed last night as the city heard arguments both for and against approval of the planning and zoning request from the owners of “Cheerleaders,” a proposed topless club in Bullhead City.
In the end, it was a 5-2 vote that approved the measure. Mayor Dianne Vick and Councilman Sam Medrano voted against the re-zoning request.
Now that the zoning request has been approved, “Cheerleaders” owners say an industrial park is also planned to be built. It will be located at 2563 Pass Canyon Road, just off the Bullhead Parkway near the Laughlin Ranch development.

BULLHEAD CITY, AZ – Citing several reasons, including arguments originating from the Arizona Administrative Code, the Bullhead City Council voted on Tuesday night to deny a liquor license for the proposed sports bar known as “Cheerleaders.”

Leading the opposition was Councilwoman Jan Ward, who says she will travel to Phoenix for the appeals process, to testify in front of the Arizona Department of Liquor Licenses.

She was joined in her opposition of the license being granted by Vice Mayor Don Sullivan, although the two had sided with the majority earlier during the planning and zoning approval for the new business. Mayor Diane Vick and Councilman Sam Medrano opposed both the re-zoning and liquor license applications for “Cheerleaders”.

Hey, the Havi channel's got a better show anyway... :D
