Well, that just became a sore subject......Originally I asked my wife if just she and I could take a quick trip out to the river for the weekend....maybe lock the kids in a closet for a couple of days.....you know, just the two of us.

Get the boat wet and then tow it back home in preperation for our trip to San Antonio at the end of the month. I kinda sorta got a nod of acknowledgement....but not a firm OK.

I found out why.

Guess what?

I'm a bit pissed to say the least. :fight

After Monday and Tuesday, even the Calendar says : WTF .......

Seriously though, that sucks.  Did she invite them for Fathers Day weekend or the San Antonio trip?   If its Fathers Day, you should have a right of recission on that deal.  Its YOUR weekend.

I'm doomed. Whatever I do it will be miserable....If I fake an illness then I have to pretend to be sick and that sucks....besides, I rarely get sick. She'll know I'm faking. :beat

Can't sabotage any of the vehicles because they have all recently been given the once over....especially hers. :banghead

Why me? Every year Father's Day is just craptacular at my house! :(

I don't want a thing...just want to go get the boat. Maybe I could send them some tickets to something....anonomously...Lakers are done and that's the only thing I think would have worked...

Fill him up with tequilla. Then sneak off and pay the biggest toughest looking guy on the beach $50 to whistle and cat call your step-daugther. That should get him out of your hair for a while....  ;)

Thanks. It was either that or rinse his shorts in gravy and make sure you set up your day camp right next to the biggest dog on the beach (preferably a member of the mastiff family). :D
P.S. For Fathers Day I plan to buy myself a new blue top battery for the boat and I'm going to ask my wife to keep our money in the bank and just give me a weekend without any hip hop music, chick TV, or "honeydoos"... :rolleyes Now all I have to do is figure out how to ask without getting kicked in the junk or, worse yet, getting "that look".  :banghead
