My digital camera doesn't have a H20proof case and I can't find one either. I put it in a plastic zip-lock bag and tossed in a the glove box but rarely brought it out 'cuz I didn't want to ruin it, just too much drinking going on to remember it mostly, but when I did, there was no way it was gonna come off of the boat.

What does everyone else here use?

I use a Pelican case for everything, cameras, lens', etc. and I have a waterproof diving bag that I use when I just want to toss just the "good" camera in the boat.

I don't bother putting the smaller cameras in a bag all the time, but I do have a small heavy vinyl zip bag that I use sometimes. :D

Those look cool, but can you take a picture thru them?

I want something I can use to potect my camera, throw it in my pocket or hang it on my wrist and jump in the water or onto the sandbar with and take a photo at a moments notice. I keep missing the money shot.  :p

Aren't there any water proof digi's out there now? So far I've just put it in the glovebox for keeping and use cautiously.

I'm sure there are. When I was at the river last weekend I saw a housing for a sony dig camera. When I got home I checked HP's website (that's what I have) and they have a housing, but its for a different model. I was just wondering if anyone knew of somewhere or someone who makes a camera housing that's universal.

I have a small Canon waterproof (to a degree) camera too.


I've even taken shots of the boat from underwater! :D

We usually buy a few of those "one-time" waterproof cameras and keep 'em in the boat.  No worries about damaged equipment that way.... :good
