Thanks guys....so in other words, it's no better than it was about three weeks ago...my last time out.
MrCord, I'm with you, why so long? I guess it's easier to turn us into 45 mph zombies if we keep it down for a while instead of slamming on the brakes for a sudden slow down?
I think it's closer to 7 or 8 miles.......I looked at the odometer last time through.

The second lane will remain closed until late tomorrow afternoon to permit staging of emergency equipment and crews. Motorists may use National Trails Highway as a detour west and rejoin I-40 at Kelbaker Road. Due to the weight limit of bridges vehicles over 9 tons are not permitted to use National Trails Highway. Delays are expected. Motorists are advised to anticipate slow traffic. Merge early and follow directions of emergency personnel.
