| Quote (Forensic @ July 27 2006,7:51 am) | I let my daughter, 12 next month wear lip gloss.  I like the one type rule.  Especially since she is going into Jr. High. That still gives her the freedom to  choose but keeps it to a minimum. ÂÂ
I'm glad you started this thread Ross.  Its something thats been bugging me and I wasn't sure how to approach it. She just started shaving her legs.   I wasn't too sure about it and all that.  She would come home with the "All my friends are doing it" story.  ÂÂ
Well, Charlaine let her use Nair so no razors were involved.  I am still on the fence about it, but I guess it's a pretty harmless step forward.  But I am a Dad, my little girls will always be my little girls. ÂÂ
damifiknow... Girls are great but for a Dad I think this is the hard part is just starting. ÂÂ

My girl turns 13 next month.....Mom pretty much keeps it in check with very minimal, maybe some lipgloss but nothing really for the eyes or face. She sees alot of young girls at her school with so much on they kinda look skanky. The exception is when she does her plays and acting having to get full makeup in some cases.......Which btw, she performs here in Oceanside the next two weekends Ain't life Grand? Treat it that way.
