That's not fun.
I've been reading through the Vehicle Code. Man, what a nightmare. You can do this but only if that....
And it looks like there is a recreational vehicle endorsement on a Class C required for towing a trailer that size. But it doesn't require a driving test with the equipment, just a written test.
I may go visit my local DMV and see what's involved........just for grins, I love going to the DMV.  |
You're not kidding.  I found out I'm in violation when I tow my 30' Weekend Warrior.  Standard travel trailer right?  Wrong.  It has a GVWR of 13,000LBS.  Which means I need a Non-Commercial Class A.  ÂÂ
I gave the cop my Commercial License (aviation) along with my First Class Medical to see if he'd cut me some slack and it worked, but he said next time it won't fly. |
You were lucky, cop must have got some that morning, he could have nailed ya good if he wanted to.
